What We Do
POSW provides the collective voice of Chief Planning Officers from local planning authorities (LPAs) across Wales. We work across sectors to address the significant issues that face the planning system, in order to collaboratively find the solutions that will help deliver great places.
We aim to support the work of LPAs by engaging with relevant organisations and stakeholders, and where necessary lobby for change, with the overall aim of delivering improved outcomes in placemaking and sustainable development.
We also act to share and promote excellence, best practice and solutions across public sector planners.
