Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Northern Ireland national planning conference

POSW put forward the Welsh perspective at Northern Ireland’s 2023 national planning conference, with particular reference to the new era of localised planning decision making in that Country.

On 6th September, POSW was invited to speak to an audience of planners, developers and agents from across the UK at the RTPI Northern Ireland Annual Conference in Belfast. Tom Evans, POSW vice Chair, presented the Welsh perspective for delegates that had assembled to discuss how the new Plan-led system in Northern Ireland can deliver for communities.
